Art of Aesthetics Community
making optimal oral care accessible to all
To further Dr. Q’s mission of making optimal oral care accessible to all, particularly underserved minority groups, he established an initiative, Art of Aesthetics Community, which coincides with his private dentistry practice. He aims to be a tangible resource to the Black and Latinx communities, especially the youth, and uses his platform to allocate funding, provide mentorship, and administer pro bono services to those in dire need of oral rehabilitation.
Thus far, Dr. Q has donated upwards of $8k to an organization that had a direct impact on his career trajectory, Determined To Be A Doctor Someday. He trekked to his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee to speak with the 2023 cohort of the program, and encouraged students to continue on their paths to success as medical practitioners. Since, his national visibility has allowed him to attract high- level brand partners that are willing to support his cause with supplies and donations. With assistance from Good Morning America, Waterpik followed Dr. Q’s lead and donated $10k to Determined To Be A Doctor Someday.
Dr. Q also supports homeless communities, offering youth and women free cleaning services and maintenance support, a necessity for overall health. His philanthropic efforts are becoming bigger than him, and he’s building a network of dentistry professionals who meet the cultural competencies of serving patients of color.
